Case study

Challenge

The client, a major oil and gas company, faced significant challenges in stabilising the access road to their drilling field, "CPF Hamaca." These challenges included:

  • High costs associated with traditional stabilisation methods, such as transporting and quarrying materials.

  • Regulatory compliance for the safe transport of crude oil.

  • Environmental concerns related to waste disposal and potential soil erosion.

Solution

To address these challenges, we proposed a solution utilising our Colloidal Delivery System (CDS®) technology. This innovative approach involved:

  • In-situ stabilisation: Leveraging the native soil to reduce the need for external materials.
